Where are my files processed?
Everything runs locally on your Mac. Your files are never uploaded to a server, which is why File Studio works fully offline.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Purchases made in the Mac App Store are managed through your Apple ID. Open System Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Manage Subscriptions, or the Manage Subscriptions option in the App Store app. Purchases made on this website can be managed by contacting support.
How do refunds work?
For Mac App Store purchases, request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For purchases made on this website, email support@filestudio.app and we will help you directly.
How do I restore my purchase on a new Mac?
In the Mac App Store version, open License from the app and click Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID. For website licenses, activate with your license key from your purchase email.
A conversion failed or produced the wrong output. What should I do?
Email support@filestudio.app with the file type you converted from and to, plus a screenshot of any error. Please do not send sensitive documents; a description is enough for us to reproduce most issues.
